1. Product Information & Benefits
Q: What are your products made from?
A: All of our products are made in small batches with simple, natural ingredients you can actually pronounce. We use therapeutic essential oils, soy wax, and skin-loving bases like shea butter, sweet almond oil, honey, raw oats, or witch hazel. No hidden fillers—just ingredients that feel like a warm hug and a blanket for your body, mind and soul.

Q: What’s the difference between essential oils and fragrance oils?
A: Essential oils are pure plant extracts with natural wellness benefits—lavender for calm, eucalyptus for clarity, citrus for a mood boost, etc. Fragrance oils, on the other hand, are synthetic and made just for scent. We only use essential oils so that your self-care products feel nourishing, not just perfumed.

Q: Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
A: We create with gentleness in mind. Many customers with sensitive skin love our products, but since everyone’s skin is unique, we recommend a small patch test first. If you ever have concerns, check with your doctor before use.

2. Usage & Instructions
Q: How do I use the linen spray?
A: Give it a shake, and just spritz a light mist onto pillows, bedding, or even into the air for a calming refresh. A little goes a long way—think of it as giving your space a gentle lavender hug.

Q: Can I use the body butter on my face?
A: Our body butters are rich and nourishing—perfect for dry arms, legs, and hands, especially in the cooler monts. For faces, everyone’s skin type is different, so we recommend patch testing first or using a lighter face-specific moisturizer if you’re prone to breakouts.

Q: How long do your soy candles burn?
A: Each candle is hand-poured with natural soy wax and a cotton wick, giving you a long, clean burn. Depending on the size, expect anywhere from 25–50+ hours of cozy glow.

3. Safety & Allergies
Q: Are your products tested on animals?
A: Never. As a cat mom of three, our products are always cruelty-free and made with compassion.

Q: What if I have a nut allergy?
A: Some of our products contain nut-derived ingredients (like shea or almond oil). Please check the ingredient list carefully and reach out if you’re unsure—we’re happy to help you find a safe option.

Q: Are essential oils safe for kids or pets?
A: Essential oils are powerful plant extracts, and little ones (and furry friends) can be extra sensitive. We recommend using with caution and keeping products out of reach of children and animals.

4. Store Policies
Q: Do you accept returns or refunds?
A: Because of the personal nature of our products, we don’t accept returns or refunds. That said, if your order arrives damaged, please reach out—we’ll make it right.

Q: How much is shipping?
A: Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location. We do our best to keep costs fair and sometimes offer free shipping specials—keep an eye out!

Q: How long does it take to process and ship my order?
A: We usually ship within 3–5 business days, since each batch is poured, whipped, or blended fresh with care. You’ll receive tracking info as soon as your package is on the way.

5. Brand Story & Values
Q: Who makes your products?
A: Every item is handmade in small batches by me—Jessica—in Boone County, Indiana. It’s my way of sharing comfort and calm from my lavender garden to your home.

Q: Are your products eco-friendly?
A: Yes! We use soy wax, recyclable packaging when possible, and keep ingredients simple and natural to reduce our footprint while keeping your self-care clean.

6. Gift Options
Q: Can I send this as a gift?
A: Absolutely! Just add the recipient’s shipping address at checkout. You can even include a personal note—we’ll tuck it in with care.

Q: Do you offer gift wrapping?
A: Yes—we believe unwrapping should feel as cozy as the gift itself. Reach out via email at warmhugandablanket@yahoo.com, and we’ll wrap it up with love.

7. Troubleshooting & Customer Concerns
Q: My candle isn’t burning evenly—what do I do?
A: The first burn is important! Let your candle melt all the way to the edges before blowing it out—that helps prevent tunneling. If it’s still uneven, trim the wick and let it burn a bit longer next time.

Q: My lotion feels grainy—why?
A: That’s just the natural butters re-crystallizing as they cool. It doesn’t affect quality at all—just warm a little in your hands and it will melt smoothly into your skin.

Q: The scent seems lighter than expected—is that normal?
A: Yes—essential oils create a more subtle, natural scent compared to synthetic fragrance oils. Think gentle whispers, not loud perfumes.
